grade 1 Seasons & Weather

In spring flowers bloom, in summer it is hot and the days are long, in autumn leaves turn red and yellow, and in winter it is cold and snow falls. The clothes we wear, the fruit in season and the games we play outside change with the seasons too. The seasons change because the Earth goes around the Sun slightly tilted, so the amount of sunlight a place gets changes through the year. Choose a season in the picture to see its scene; the months given here are for the Northern Hemisphere, where Korea is, and in the Southern Hemisphere the seasons are the other way round.

Spring

What changes with each season?

③Trees that have dropped their leaves rest until spring comes
