Day & Night

Day and night take turns because the Earth spins like a top. The side facing the Sun has bright daytime, and the opposite side has dark night. One spin takes 24 hours, so we go to school and play by day, then sleep and see the Moon and stars at night. Slide through the hours and the Sun rises and sets as day becomes night.
