Graph Interpretation

A graph turns a table full of numbers into a picture you can read at a glance. Bar graphs suit comparing sizes, line graphs suit changes over time, and pie charts suit the share each part takes of the whole. Everyday data comes alive this way, from a fruit survey to monthly temperatures and favorite subjects. The bar is fruit, the line is Seoul temperatures, and the pie is subjects. The three pictures are not one table drawn three ways.
