much / many / few
規則可算名詞は many·(a) few、不可算名詞は much·(a) little を使う。
好奇心
「many information」か「much information」か。「few water」か「little water」か。数量語を名詞にどう合わせるのか。
直感
名詞を二つに分ける:数えられるもの(book 1個·2個)と数えられないもの(water, information)。各グループに固有の数量語がある。
可視化
構成要素を見る:不可算名詞には much、可算複数には many が強調される。関係は「much + 不可算 / many + 可算」。
名詞の可算/不可算が数量語を決める。
