Intuición

Un participio es un verbo que actúa como adjetivo. -ing: el sustantivo hace la acción (the waiting man = el hombre que espera). -ed/p.p.: el sustantivo la recibe (the written report = el informe que fue escrito).

Participio presente (V-ing) = activo; pasado (V-ed/irregular) = pasivo. Atención al par "-ing vs -ed": interesting (causa el sentimiento) vs interested (lo siente). El TOEIC evalúa la dirección (activo/pasivo) del participio.
