Sea Breeze and Monsoon
Wind blows because temperature differences make pressure differences, always from high toward low pressure. By day the land heats faster so a sea breeze runs from sea to land; by night the land cools faster so a land breeze runs the other way. Monsoons are the same idea at continent scale: in Korea, moist southeast winds in summer and dry northwest winds in winter. Change the time of day and sea and land breezes switch.
