料金 ryoukin — 料 (charge, fee) + 金 (money). 料 is the rate, 金 is money — the price set on a service — a fee, charge, fare. 料 is the same kanji as in 給料 (salary, from P2). Unlike 値段 (nedan, the price of goods), 料金 is used for the cost of using a service: electricity, transport, lodging.
