Mnemonic

Nasaru (なさる) is the respectful (sonkeigo) form of suru ("do"). Triple: suru (neutral) - itasu (humble) - nasaru (respectful). Business front-desk staple "dou nasaimashita ka" (what has happened) is used by doctors and store clerks when asking customers. The "o + verb + nasaru" pattern (e.g., "o-denwa nasaimasu ka", will you call) builds polite questions. The -masu form is nasaimasu, and the imperative ~nasai (e.g., "o-hairi nasai", please come in) retains a respectful tone. Korean -si / -simnida and Chinese nin zuo diverge. JLPT N5 keigo core.
