Korean high-school math is six subjects: common math, Math I, Math II, probability and statistics, calculus, and geometry. The grade bands are 10, 11, 11–12, 11–12, 12, 12. Common math is the shared year-10 course; calculus and geometry are year-12 electives, so all six are not required. In the 2022 revision, Algebra is Math I, Calculus I is Math II, and Calculus II is the calculus card. Year 10 begins with polynomial operations in common math. High-school science and university math are separate courses.
