冷える hieru — the intransitive partner of 冷やす (to chill). Something grows cold on its own, with no agent: 体が冷える (the body gets cold). It also describes weather turning cold (夜になって冷える). 冷えた飲み物 = a chilled drink. A change-of-state intransitive, like 焼ける and 濡れる from partial-4.
