Sentence structure
Key sentences split into meaning units, showing the role of each part.
"jiu" signals that the result follows immediately once the prior action happens, so "dakai shouji ... jiu neng mai dao" = once you open the phone, you can buy right away, compressing condition and result. The "dao" in "mai dao" is a result complement marking the success of the action (buying and getting it). Before the object "dongxi," "xiang yao de" is a relative clause, and in Chinese the modifier always comes before the noun.
"yinwei ..." fronts the reason (often answered by "suoyi" later, though it can be omitted). The subject "shoudao de dongxi" uses the relative clause "shoudao + de" to modify the noun "dongxi," giving "the item received." The predicate "he tupian bu tai yiyang" puts "bu tai" into the comparison frame "he A yiyang" (same as A) to mean "not quite the same as the picture."
