grade 3 Animal & Plant Life

Animals and plants differ in shape and in where they live, so we can group them by the features they share. Animals can be sorted by where they live and how they move: land animals walk on legs, water animals swim with fins, and sky animals fly with wings. Plants can be sorted by their stems: trees have thick, hard stems, while herbs have thin, soft stems.
